If you are wondering, "where in the heck is Martensville, anyway?", a map of the Saskatoon area can be seen here. Martensville is 18 km directly north of Saskatoon on Highway 12. For specific directions to the track, please follow the "smra track" link below.
The cost for both days of practice, qualifying, and racing will be $90 per adult and $45 per child under 16. A maximum of $225 will be charged per family unit.
Practice will take place Saturday 10am-3pm, and then Superpole qualifying after that. Racing will commence Sunday morning. Awards will be handed out right after the racing is completed in the afternoon, followed by a pizza banquet (included in the cost of registration). Non-racers can participate for only $5. The Western Canadian Series awards will be presented after the banquet.
A full schedule of events can be seen here.
A preregistration form can be had here. Please download, fill out, save, and e-mail to
SMRAminirr@shaw.ca.
IMPORTANT!!!! This registration form is NOT an online form. You MUST download it to your own hard drive (Internet Explorer - right click the link, and select "save target as", Mozilla Firefox - left click the link, open with MS Word or equivalent), open it with a word processer, make your entries, save the updated file to your hard drive (preferably with a file name that includes your name), and then e-mail it as an attachment to the above address. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but I don't know how to do online forms.
Camping at the track is allowed, and is free! Potable water will be available on site, and a concession will be open Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday. The only stipulation is that camp fires be enclosed and off of the ground. For those people who prefer the comfort of showers and beds, there are a number of hotels to choose from that are a short distance from the track:
