There are two kinds of moderators, a super moderator and a regular moderator.
A moderator is someone with the ability to moderate posts in the forum he/she is a moderator in. In other words he or she can edit offensive text in a post, delete spam posts, merge double postings, and can also ban and unban users.
A super moderator can do all the above but can moderate in all the forums.
If you want to look at it this way, think of the admin as a shop owner, super moderators are the store managers and the moderators are the clerks. |
