A boost bottle is not NOS, nor is it anything like NOS.
NOS is compressed.
A boost bottle simply holds excess fuel to "dump" into the cylinder upon the next intake cycle. It works on gravity the same as the carb. You can get the same effect by installing a larger carb and jetting it properly.
Boost bottles are crap on a pocketbike. They're probably crap on anything you can put it on since a proper sized carb and a tuned pipe will do this for you and do it much better. |
