Remove the left side cover on the motor.
that will expose the clutch and drive gear.
The clutch is a "centrifugal clutch"
meaning when the motor revs up
the shoes expand outwardly, comming
into contact with the inner clutch bell housing.
Its that round thing that came off in your hand
when you removed the cover...Now Dude remove the
chain. Now the clutch has three curved things with
a kindda pad thing glued to it...see 'em, they also
have springs attached to the inside of the curved part.
Dude thats the clutch, when youv'e learned this part...
you'll understand how the motor turns the rear wheel.
Now start your motor being careful not to rev the motor
to high....when you give it a little throttle, the curved things will
start to move out wardly, kinnda like a dragster rear tires
grow real tall on a take off. If the
clutch shoe/pads/curved things are not expanding,
thats the problem. Its a quick fix.....Toss it off a cliff
and go buy a BMS and have a great time racing it My Friend.
Or not, and keep it and Learn how to identify all the parts
and to do that you gotta learn your mini and why and how it works
first, then ask why it wont go or how to fix it when it wont go.
You'll be surprised at how quickly you'll learn it and ride
the living crap'e outta it 'till it dies.
