Followup April 9 2006

On friday (apr 8) I was finally able to clear this shipment through Canada customs. I had to go to the customs office and show proof of payment and they accepted what I had fortunately.

I also had to correct them as to the country of origin and when I said China they didn't have an issue. I suspect chinese goods of this type have the same or higher duty rates than other countries.

The entire payment of course included shipping, but I wasn't going to fight anymore and paid duty and taxes on the whole amount. I had no proof as to how much the shipping cost me so this was much easier. It might have cost me maybe $10 extra.

This thread should serve as notice to many people about this company and also the difficulties of bringing bikes or parts across the border. If your shipper isn't willing to work with you, you can get yourself into this nightmare as well.

Buy Canadian if you're Canadian. Let the dealers deal with this crap and all you have to worry about is getting your product. You might save a few bucks by buying from the US, but you could get screwed at the border.

note - All of the front rims which were supposed to be complete arrived without bearings and I assume without the bearing spacer. This will add some costs to go along with the headaches.

Payment sent Dec 20 2005 via FedEx overnight
Payment was received Dec 21
Shipment finally in my hands on April 8 2006
