If you would't mind, may I share an experience from yesterday....



Posted: Sun Sep 17, 2006 7:30 am Post subject: What a Sport ..A little Drama unfold yesterday when after the race that had Ben and Rocky battling it out, Joshia brought news to Rocky that the Rules had been infringned. J. made it very clear to Rocky that the yellow was out when he got passed.....This is were I was very impressed with what unfolded. J discribed the incident to Rocky, making it clear that due to the rules, the race was Rocky's. Rocky was a little confused at first, then began to understand after some thought. J. then told Rocky that he also had a choice. Take the Win, or (for lack of better words on my part) give it away. Rocky was a little unsure as what he wanted to do (mind you this is what I was seeing) So thats when the Morals Family did what I think was Stellar. First I heard "Dad" say to Rocky.."You think about it son, then come tell me what you decide"....(Again from My perspective), Rocky was still a little uncertain how he was going finalize this delima. Thats when I saw the Morals Family do what was best for "All" They had a "Family Meeting" I mean think about it My friends, isn't that what its all about...
Fun and Family....Support and Sportsmanship. Now to the reason I made this post....Soon after the Morals Family meeting I asked Rocky what he had deciced to do, Take the Win, or (again for lack of better words on my part) give it away. Rocky had deciced to give the win to Ben. And for all the right reasons too. Fun, Family, and Sportsmanship with the Support of his Family. ....... I shook his hand.

WOW , great , i have noticed , and talked to others at the track that saythe same thing that these kids are learning much more than just riding , they learn public relations , how to speak in front of a crowd , comerortery(whatever) , sportsmanship , etc. the list goes on ! Very impressed , if ya speak to them tell the guy ,that it takes a proud man to do what he did way to go , and karma goes a long way !
