Default Article #11: How to paint your pocketbikebike

This isn't so much an article or tutorial. I found this image again recently and figured this would be a good way to share it.

Pick your favorite graphic editor such as Paint, Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop or whatever you have and open the image. You will probably want to expand the image to make it larger and easier to draw fine details.

Draw/paint your bike and you can use the autofill feature to fill in areas to start with a base of a solid colour. Draw any art or you want or you could even go download a logo or scan a logo that you may want on the bike.

Your logo (or sponsor logo!) could then be resized and moved where ever appropriate.

That's it! Sure it sounds simple, but unless you have some inkling of creativity your first image will look bad. Have no fear, just do it all again!

Once you have the bike how you want it, print it out (enlarged) and take it to your painter. Understanding that you will probably break a fairing during your tenure as a racer, you may want to have two of them done. It's still nice to have an extra, even if the second fairing is only for a show and shine.

Have fun designing your fantasy paint job!
