As for if any one wants to still see my vids, they are still on youtube, they are just open to people on my friends list. So do a friend invite and you too will be able to see them....This problem will be solved soon, I am working on a state of the art bike right now, I plan to have it as light as 45-50 pounds. The bike will be set up mid 2007 and be at a couple "American North East Pocket Bike" Races in and around NY..... I will not be giving any info on this bike at this time other then that, it is kinda top secrete right now. Wish me luck If any one on this forum is up with the topic on CycleForums of mine, The 60mph pass is in a bit of a delay. My controller is completely garbage, and now will not even work! So now i am in the works of ordering an even better controller that is "Name-band" and is "Brandy-new"! Right now on order: S.V.R. 12v14ah gel cells(300amps can get dumped when needed) TSP-200-controller 200amps@36-48volts With that stuff in my bike, it will surely go beyond 60mph!

| Pocketbike Master | update: New parts to be used! Electric Vehicles USA, Inc 1000 Watt 36 VDC Motor For Scooters and other small EV's. Voltage:36 VDC. Can be used on 24 volts (about 535 watts) Output: 1000W @ 36 Volt - 666.6 Watt at 24 Volts Sprocket: Clutch (freewheeling) 25 Pitch 15 Tooth any one know the amperage this motor takes? I think it is a 35amp motor, but i am not sure about that? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am having problems with my current set up. I need to upgrade to something a bit better and more "Name Brand". my set up i have now glitches and bumps a LOT! Due to the second hand controller that I got from a "nameless".com store that looked like they were ripped out of old return bikes, I never got the bike past even 40mph this time? Three controllers from that place and the same thing happens either it wont torn on or it failed while in use or after a bit of riding. Nuff to say i am kinda let down by all this, I know what i am doing and have all the tools to track down the problems. This brings me to another Point, Now after all the controller problems I now have a motor problem That i now believe was caused from constant controller failure. My brushes seem to be cutting the commutator a bit. This would be caused from a controller dumping full power into the motor in short bursts at high amps. Right? things to help fix problem: "Better" controllers to be used with this "new motor": 1) Curtis 1204-00XX controller to use now that some one let me test with. 2) Navitas TSP200 controller that should be here any day now. At the end of the day, it is all the same. Life goes on and more money is spent. I would have liked to do it right the first time, but you never see that happen, right? My Prized bike is getting gutted today and redone in the next couple days. Quote from me on cycleforums.com you would be amaze if you were there on the first run, I really had her whipping around that parking lot. I may have done in the controller just from that. but it had a 0-25mph in as fast as a 3-4 seconds, and topped out under 5 seconds...35mph when it was running strong and geared to race... Laugh at me, I really don't mind. I deserve any and all the punishment you all want to post, I did not make my dead line, but in the end I have learned more in one month about how to make my bike more for racing then i have learned in 2 years messing with EV pocket bikes. I now know i have to reverse every thing i believe in to make the bike work. Don't ask me to get into detail about it, Just know a lot has changed in my shop and in my head. Actually I have not made a bike to sell in over a month now because of all this. E very thing is going to my project bike now, A LOT OF MONEY! I have to seal up Shakes controller and buy a 5k ohm twist grip for it. then I can use it on a new motor i am ordering tonight or tomorrow. I am also going to be using a couple other name brand controllers as well this time. cost $150-$300 The motor i am looking at is a I-Zip1000(watt) made by Currie, kinda pricey at almost $200 but you pay for the name, nope more like you pay for it to work. Actually Every thing on the bike will be name brand this time. Cost more but will work though! I am tired of spending my money on junk electronics, time to spend my money on the good stuff! Right now i have the whole price list in front of me, many of you could make a hell of a gas bike for what i am about to dish out. I hope it works this time! It has to.....
