Exclamation I am going pro '08 CA races maybe Japan!

I am trying to find backers for my insane race bike package (30-40hp in a 100pound bike) my batteries will just be able to take a 15min race with a hell of a lot of power the whole time.

I have plans for a GEM frame, but will have to test the drive system with a china water cooled frame till I can buy the better frame. I really dont think the people that made the banshie and C1 were thinking some one could put that much power in that frma...I cant truelly trust the china fram wont crack in the first couple races

I will have 5,000-6,000 invested in it come race day...so expect it to be what I say, Crazy fast! I will be the first person to try and tame such a bike to date. I dont even think there is even a 30hp pocket bike yet(it is just insane)

I will have one thing all pocket bike dont have.. a kinda stabalization sytem for the motor and power pack. also my bike will have a fully programable 1000amp high end controller(EV Sport car grade) in the bike some how, so I can program a torque/power map so the twist grip is more controlable. I just hope it cand stay planted on just a 10% take off power!

well I have to get back to writing Emails to every conection I have ever had for help I still need a some of help...

I will keep up to date with the biuld, it will start mid feb hopefully

Default Update:

I am making my test bike with the following...I have a couple people that may be interested in helping me on the real bike, but need to see what I have to offer first. So I am buying a C1 Water cooled bike and parting out the Engine(and gas assesories) for extra cash, then I will install a 5hp high amp motor. the bike with just 24volts should do over 40mph if not well into the high 50's...

If my weights are right, the bike will weigh 54.8pounds, lighter then the stock(gas) bike by 6 pounds, who says "Electric pocket bike have to be heavy"?

I will include some other secret stuff as well as a test platform for the real race bike,....If I can get a good pay off back from the "brand new"(not even broke in yet) engine/pipe/gas tank/water cool stuff, then I will only have to invest about 400clams to make this midd level race platform.

2 months left to get the other bike done as well

Test bike name: ExVolt3000z
Test power: 24volts@22ah AGM cells
running motor: 5000+rpm high amp with 83% Efficiency rating @24volts
temp controller: 300amp 24 volt
Donor Bike: C1/C2 "china" water cooled pocket bike

Update:

my Bday is today, so some extra cash that is needed will soon be here in the mail from my family...Bday cards suck and are never funny, but when they have a sum of money in them, it is all good!

I have just had an offer for a used C1 frame/Roller, I hope I can get it at a nice price. this will get the ball rolling and I can start on "Pod" construction and soon motor placement....The bike should be donr in less then 16hours after all parts are acounted for. Then the foirst couple test runs(these will not be posted on youtube, so dont ask) and and final setting will be made.

54.8 pounds is a light bike, and the lightest I have ever had this much power in. I just need the guys at the motor place I am dealing with to respond to my last email about over volting one of ther motors so it will do 10Krpm. If the motor can turn that much with out blowing its seltf up, it will compete almost even with open class bikes..

well I will probably do that if I do good this year on the east coast to put the bike through it's paces. I will need to work some bugs out if any...Many of the cycleforum guys have been asking me to show up at E-Town and Beaver run tracks for a couple years now. but every year I get things my extra cash needed to be spent on that are more important then my bikes...(broken car parts, tickets and bills that come out of no where)

but this year I will at least have some good amounts of extra cash, so making the bike will be more doable this time out.

On a diff note, my Ice bike and me got nabbed by state troopers the other day. I cant stand troopers, they love the big tickets and to give them out as well(DoT, non reg. motor Vehicle = $2000 min fine) but I was talking to them for a half hour and they sounded more curious then lawful. I ended up feeling respect coming my way from the two nice cops, even after they saw me obviously breaking the law doing 30+mph on the side walk trying to evade them...for the most part they thought it was a kick ass bike and were very interested in my ideas and told me flat out to go to school and get my certs and or degrees I should have already with my know how and what I use it for. As they pulled away they told me to ride safe and try to stay out of the road, yes they didn't even give me a warning once and that made me stoked like you don't even know!
