Default $300 limit for a pocket bike

I know $300 wont get me a very good/fast pocket bike, but this is all I am spending on one. I just want to be able to have the fastest bike possible for $300. I'm not sure whether I should just buy a stock bike for that much, or buy a cheaper bike a save the extra $ for performance parts. My friend can get me this bike http://www.forsalechoices.com/Pocket-Bikes-PB06.htm for $100, its a cheap bike and a relatively slow one. Do you guys think I should get the bike from my friend and use the extra $ for upgrades, or do any of you have a better bike in mind? And remember, if I get a bike online, shipping cost will also be deducted from my cash limit. Therefore, it may better to just get the bike from my friend. I have no clue though, thats why I am asking.

Thanks
-Rick

If you want good and/or fast then don't buy an X2, it's neither of those.

Real "pocketbikes" don't have lights. Ones with lights are bigger and are called by a few names but one that I hear most often is midbike. X2's are larger than pocketbikes and much slower.

dont forget to use the extra 200 dollars towards a tool kit to keep the piece of s*** running which likely wont happen as you will need a level2 mechanics ticket to know what you are dealing with. also a backhoe at 50 bucks an hour so you can bury the bitch when you are sick of wrenching it and kicking it after it only ran for 10 minutes out of the mnth you owned it. enjoy your new bike and see you at the track, i mean pits.

50 bucks! are ya kidding me!!! its more like 150! by my rates there is gas, transporation, LUNCH, and then i also have to pay my assistant red head 10 bucks an hour. so spend a little bit more and buy a cag. but hey i dont mind making the extra money

My friend has the same one and has had it for a long time with no mechanical problems. And I dont plan on going to the tracks asshole. I just want something to screw around with. I have better things to spend my money on rather than dumping a s*** load of money in a pocketbike. You were of absolute no help you piece of s***.

Hey admin, you have AIM or something so I can talk to you on that? You seem very knowledgible and are serious about things. Some of these other guys are just plain dickheads.
