| Decent Rider | So luckily I got my bike today (They stopped at my house yestarday but noone was around for a signature). Anyways, I was at work and my brother brought it at work and I saw it and I was IMMIDIATLY extatic (sp?). Those last 2.5 hours of work seemed like 3 weeks cuz I wanted to ride it so bad. So I took it out of town in an old abandoned road. I filled it up with gas. I started it after about 2 strokes and started riding. I went strait, then turned around and went strait again and started leaning back and forth to get the feel of it and ALMOST lost control. I was s***ting myself, lol and I was probably only going like 7-8 miles an hour. NOW I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS. If I set the bike on the stand and give it gas there is a metally humming noise that comes from the front sprocket??? Any one know what this is? Also, I started and shut off the bike probably 8-9 times during a 20 minute period. After about the 7th pull I let it sit to cool down for a few minutes (manual said don't let it get too hot during break in). After that it took about 20 pulls to start. I road around, turned it off for a little while again and it took about another 20 pulls to start after the second waiting period. I turned it off again too do some reading and about 10-15 minutes later I tried starting it and almost couldn't get it started. I had to do VERY FAST repititions and as it barely started I had to give it massive gas then while it was running it seemed to run fine. Do you guys know what could be going on? (the choke was set properly) Thanks guys

| Decent Rider | Thought I should add that the only prep I did to the bike was add some oil to the chain and fill it with a gas mixture of 30:1 (manual recommended 30:1) Also after I had been running the bike I noticed it said I should use like 95 octane? I was running 91, could this harm anything?

| Decent Rider | This is probably a stupid question but what plug am i switching? I bought this bike to have fun and to learn about engines. But I want to have some fun before I am FORCED to learn about engines, haha. And I wasn't planning on riding very fast or crazy so I only through on my knee pads and some gloves. ANOTHER QUESTION! How do you guys lean so far down? My foot pegs hit the ground if I lean too much? edit: and the road should be considered a long slab of pavement because I parked my car in the middle of the road and drove my bike around. I think your underestimating how desolate this road is. It leads nowhere, haha. It isn't really even a road.

| Super Moderator I'm the boss! | try starting it with the choke off, when it's not too cold sometimes it doesn't need it. the spark plug, it's the one in the top of the cylinder with the wire going to it. change youre pegs to a higher mounting type like meat hooks and you can lean your bike more

| Decent Rider | Well, took it out today again for about an hour (would've stayed longer if possible, haha) and POCKET BIKES ARE KICK! I crashed onetime and although I was barely moving I scraped up the faring pretty bad. I was good though thanx to the good ole safety gear. It is starting very well now so I don't think I have much to worry about. Right now I never go above half throttle but MY LORD is it hard! I can't wait till it is broke in so I can open it up!
