will "We" measure up to the challenge?
I've been to two Events in Canada, one in
Alberta (Calgary- note the Gary in Cal....)
last year. And most recently to Saskatuwan
(Saskatoon) no jokes about the "Toon" part please.
But these people/racers are a Family. Just as I see SC
as a Family. I hope I get no argument there. These
two Families will make for a terriffic extended Family
I'm sure of it. For the most part, the inviornment
of an AMRA Event is exacly like an SC event. The families
share and share alike. They support each and every racer..
even the Old, Ugly, and Fat guys like me and D&DDude and
OldguyDude....and Berna (Prez of the AMRA) is an exact
duplicate to what and how Viv. is and was to SC,
when she had the reins, gawd I love Viv....
Viv used to greet Everyone with a great
smile, or a hug. Sometimes if you were lucky
you'd get both. Berna was the first person
to greet me that Friday nite at the Track....
Guess what.....I was lucky...I got both.
Don't worry, Fox (Berna's husband) was
right there too with a handshake and a Man hug
for me too....Then we talked Racing.......And
we talked Racing here...in the States....
Then we partied.....JDude, Paul, myself and a bunch
of SC's finest, partied like that once.... I recall AMAGO!
