Default Wont start

I just bought a pocket bike off a friend for 60 bucks! Only problem is it wont start. The good news is it does turn over when I pull it. Also I dont know the gas to oil ratio. If I post a picture can someone tell me?

id run 32:1

as for getting it running i would check:

-the fuel lines for kinks
-the carb jet for clogs
-the spark plug for a spark
-and the compression

Damn the engine is so hard to get to. Just testing for spark was ridiculous (but there was spark).

k buddie, when the bar is down the choke is off, when the bar is up, choke is on. when the fuel shut-off is up and down then it is on, when it is sitting parallel to the ground it is off.

How can you tell the fuel ratio without even looking at it? will it screw it up if its wrong?

umm no. u cant tell the fuel ratio by simply looking at it. unless your chuck norris.

it wont screw it up if u run different ratios it will just have different effects on the engine. short and long term. theres people that run 25:1 and people that run 50:1 and everything in between
