I have been thinking a lot about all the things that we have accomplished over the years. Not many great feats but am proud of where we have gotten up to this date . For me it all started when my Sister had her first kid !( the bike was to be for him ) Before he could even walk i spent 800 on his first cag ! ( yes very high $ ) after trying it once , i had to have another , which resulted in my L7 . About this time, trying to find parts and a place to ride , was given a phone number by a friend to a guy which now is a best friend Vern Stevens! Upon calling him was the change of pb riding in winnipeg from then on ! Tai chi , C1 , C2 , 2x gp3 , Z1 , 2x banshee , 2 cags , Bms 40 , Bms 50 , and everything you could do to each , i have had ! From the first day going out riding with his group i was hooked ! Money from every cheque was alotted to some sort of part or gear for racing ! But ripping around the parking lot in a layout that changed all the time was getting a little boring ! Also till the guy i am talking about bought his first euro , all are chinese bike would overheat or have some sort of jetting or problem . This was it , lets get serious ! Everyone that was a die hard bought one of this amazing Euro bikes and rode them as hard as they possibly could , and every weekend . Now with the bikes , and with the skill that we were learning we desided to hit up the big time racing. Rcpra finally was made , and from there made it easier for those that wanted to ride to take it to a safe area, and directed by those whom race the bikes themselves . Making sure that the proper gear and bikes safety where taken into consideration prior to any riding , and holding a number of events thoughout the Manitoba area at place such as Speedworld indoor karting and Gimli Kart track ! Once realizing that our riders and regulars where really taken by the minimotard classes , and those bikes where also out there , Rcpra turned into Rcmrra ! Vern Stevens ,Shawn Emery , Aime Emery, Kris R. , Gil Johnson , Bruce ( pocketbikeforum) ,from the beginning have had alot of work to do to make it to where we are today ! An hopefully a bit further once this season starts ! Looks like alot of kool things may start to happen for the club this year and I am hoping that it does ! Rcmrra.com will let you all know whats going on ( RIGHT JARED ???) at all times , from where we are going to be that weekend to where all events across canada may be , and those we will be attending !
