see theres more to the story about my neighbour... she called the dog catcher on me, called the cops and called the humane society so I really don't care what she says... oh ya and she kid-napped my dog, and her dog got my dog pregnant... the list goes on

Answering my own question.

In South Australia (one of its states), the sale of pocket bikes have been banned "unless they meet certain safety criteria". Bikes sold pre-ban cannot be confiscated, and bikes can continue to be sold as long as they meet the safety standards, which are pretty reasonable in my view:

The state of Victoria has a similar "ban" in place.

For Pam to say "they've been banned outright" is a stretch of the truth, to be generous. But that's CityTV for you, anything sensational to get the ratings. They're not far from their roots as a soft-core porn channel.
