1. Remove the top cap on your carburetor.
2. Remove the throttle slide assembly (TAKE A PICTURE OF THIS, OR STUDY CLOSELY TO SEE HOW IT FITS TOGETHER)
3. Detach throttle cable by compressing spring and sliding end through long groove on throttle slide (black cylinder)
4. Remove the throttle needle.
5. Move c-clip on throttle neele down a notch or two. WARNING: DO NOT LOSE THIS CLIP - IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT.
6. Put throttle needle back in throttle slide, and reassemble.

Answer to earlier question about bending float forks: If you looked at the carburetor as you pulled it apart, you noticed that there was a needle attached to the float forks. this is part of your overflow system. Basically, waht happens is this: As gas flows into the float bowl, the float rises and pushes against the forks. In turn, the forks push the float needle up into its tube, sealing off the overflow. When the float forks are bent up too far, the float cannot push the needle up to seat correctly, and the gas overflows out of the tube. This is a common occurence with cag/Daytonas.

Idle screw will only set how fast or slow your bike is idling. Moving the c-clip on the needle leans/richens gas mixture (up for lean, down for richen)..

Basically the ONLY things you can adjust on a stock carb are the needle, the idle screw, and the throttle cable stop, besides bending the float foks.

Thumbs up x2 carb. leaking

I have a x2 and when it sits it leaks gas into the filter and into the exhaust. Also will barely crank now and if it does not for long, it will not idle. I think it is flooding the sparkplug.
