Unhappy Gas Leak

Hey guys, first off i want ot thank beester, shawn, admin, and frank for their help with my carb/spark plug probs

The new prob with my bike is that gas just leaks from the carb whenever th engine is not running and i want ot know what i can do about that, i have tightened the screws that connect the float bowl with the carb, and there is a gasket in there!

my friend told me to ride the pb with the gas on off (white switch position like this --> -- and not this |) until the pb stops then ride it on | position and it shouldnt leak
is that true?

The needle is probably sticking, disassemble the carb and clean it again.

You can also try lifting the back of the bike about 3-5 inches from the ground and dropping it. Quite often that dislodges the needle and fixes the issue.
