Default Pull start pawl problem

i got a new bike yesterday off of ebay and it was a cheapy and i go to start and and the cord jerks and doesnt pull easily and sticks so i switched the pull start because it came with an extra one and it started once and then after that the same thing started happeneing. so then i took that one off and the little white thing on both were broken and missing peices what might of caused this and how can i fix it, thanks for your help im a newb

oh hey dude im the guy who told you to come here, as i said befor you can get an aluminum starter prawl for 8 bucks or an entire new pull start with the aluminum prawl for 16 bucks off of sleeves or huckster at river city pocket bikes.

because its a stock chinese air coolled pb which is usually poorly constructed because you get what you pay for!

well first while starting you should pull it slowly until it grabs the flywheel then giver hell if you just yank it, it will cause it to break
