I bet if you clean the carb it would run like it did before... you shouldn't really have to use the choke.. I took the choke off mine

Black oil coming from manifold is not uncommon! Like friggin bike said , clean your carb , We mean getting the bowl off the bottom and making sure jet is clean ! How is the spark? strong or weak ?
Also whats spark plug look like ? meaning unscrew it from the head and chech the color of the spark area !
If u have a mix of 25:1 for break in then go to 32:1 . The leanest u should go is 50:1 so you know now !

stupid question. but i just got my engine today and cant figure out how to put on the transmission. the allan bolts are so tight i cant get them off. i took the cvt transmission off my other engine and cant figure how to put it on.

thats wat the end of it looks like and i cant get that black casing off..do i need to? because the part that goes on is round and wont fit over that. any advice will be great thanks alot.
