Upgrades and Gas:Oil Ratio? - PocketBikeForum.com

Hey all, I am pretty new to PB's. I will be getting a 2-stroke 49cc X7. It already has an intake, no HP carb, and an after market exhaust. What other upgrades would substantially increase my acceleration, top speed, torque, and just make it run really nice. And what sort of gasoline:oil ratio shuold I USE?!?! I dont know much about pocket bike ratios. Thanks alot for your help

For gas oil ratio run 50:1 do all other adjustments by jetting and tuning the carb, depending on spark plug color(this info should be able to be found in the tutorials on this site). As for other mods to the motor try a rocket key(timing advance key) this will give you great gains for it's cheap price, another good mod to start with is a better ignition wire or complete module and wire. Hope this helps!

THANK GOD!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! WOW!! I never thought anyone would ever respond to me on here. no offence...but this place sucks. NOBODY talks to noobs. hahah. thanks alot man. When i get pictures of my bike, ill post some and maybe some people would be able to help me understand it? Where would I do that?
