Default Got a pocketbike.. help please.

Hey, I just got a pocket bike and I started it once but I don't know how to again.

Someone was trying to tell me to put the white turner horizontal so I did that..
I'm a n00b when it comes to this so any help would be appreciated. Also, I only have a little bit of gas, would that cause it not to start?
I need a step-by-step guide basically.. Thanks.

what kinda bike do you have? I recently just got one and had some trouble shooting at the start too. I found on the internet you want to screw the screw (can't remember the name) which is on the opposite side of where you start the bike clockwise all the way. Once that is done, you then turn it counter clock wise one rev. also check your choke, play with it a little(go all the way up then down middle etc). but before ripping the cord like crazy pull is slow 3 times before you give it a rip. if you get it started let it warm up, then take off the choke slowly. after this you may want to tune you bike better but get it started first. hope this works.

It's a Giovanni. I can get a picture if needed. I got it used so I don't what all the settings are at and all that stuff.
I just put a little bit of WD-40 on the metal part inside the starter because it was really hard to pull, like something was making it stick.

I got it to go, and run and stuff but theres a problem.. I think.
The acceleration handle doesn't do anything really and the thing just goes by itself, I have to slow and speed up via breaks.

ok dude perfect that's what happened to me, start it up let it warm. Try to leave the choke so the wheel doesn't engage (that switch up). Turn the screw a little to the left, drop the choke all the way. Pick up the bike and see if the wheel turns , if not mission accomplished and if not keep fiddling (doing this).

i'm a noob as well, having a similar problem. not sure about the horizontal switch, on mine it look like it should be vertical. also, the hose on the bottom... is that supposed to be like that?
any help in getting this thing started is welcomed.
the whole reason i got the pocket bike was to learn more about mechanics - i'm off to a rocky start!
