having demensions i could very easily make one out of aluminum. im sure it could be more of a can shape which be very easy or even a box. does anyone know the volume needed for a stock cag with just a fiberglass reed. and also the hose size. i would also assume hose length would effect it too? i get bored sometimes so it would be a fun project and i have acess to lots of meterials. i could even do carbon fiber

Check out the article, pick your RPM range and do the math.

If you just want one that fits then buy one from ebay, otherwide you can't just use someone else's calculations to make one for yourself.

bottle size (volume), hose length and hose diameter all make a difference.

im not sure if i am using your calculator correctly. it asks for volume and im not sure what the volume is for. what i came up with is with a 14mm hose at 15cm long i will need a 403cc bottle to make power at 5000rpm. i could be way off cause i only have high school math and that was a long time ago. lol.

any info on how to use the calculator would be great. fabricating the bottle will be easy, but the math to figure it out isnt my thing. lol

A 14mm hose means you'd have to drill a 14mm (inside diameter) hole in your intake.

Remember that boost bottles are for bottom end so trying to build a bottle for 5000RPM is going to make it small (the higher the RPM's, the smaller the bottle!).

Volume would be the volume of the bottle itself.

The math is mostly done for you in the excel sheet, enter the RPM at which you want the bottle to be most effective, the speed of sound at your specific elevation and hose diameter.
