Boost bottles aren't necessarily a "gimmick". Check out the article on them at http://www.pocketbikeforum.com/artic...-new-post.html

As for juice boxes I haven't researched them yet so I don't know, but I'll be doing them soon. On first glance they appear to be just another "type" of boost bottle. Boost bottles need to be tuned to a specific setup so just because it may work on one bike doesn't mean it's big enough (or small enough) to work on another.

Boost bottles also won't give you a significant increase in power on such a small mote as a pocketbike motor, but it may improve throttle response at a specicif RPM range. That's what the Juice Box says it is designed to do.

Perhaps I'll email ADA and ask them for their theory behind the box.

if all it does is help throttle response and doesnt hurt anything else then i would be all for it, but if i get throttle response at the expense of top end or low end, then i dont think i would be so interested. also, thanks for the research. i just fixed my pocketbike after 4 months of downtime so i am excited to mod it now

If i understand correctly it is like a blast box , and works on liquid cooled or 40 cc / 50 cc Air cooled bikes .
