whats better Triple FG or Carbon.... on a stock setup. Or is triple overkill
without a heavily modded bike? If so, get regular carbon or FG.

huh? no you don`t lose topend unless you get them way to thick, stiffer reeds stops the reed flutter at WOT,polini makes 3 grades of stiffness ,blue, green and red, and uses them in there bikes ,some people double them up for more stiffness. I use the green(middle stiffness)

they made the fg ones first plus its a personal liking , i don`t cut the middle slit when i cut mine from the sheet that makes it alot more stiffer than the 2 petal . this is just imo from mine and others experiances with the 2 kinds, and I never said that fg reeds flutter the cf reeds just are more reliable and stiffer,fg are about as good and way cheapier, i mean its cf ,everything cf is expensive, right?lol
