Unhappy New mini dirt bike, will not spark...

I just got this mini dirt bike (not sure if it's a "Zeimini" like on ebay, but it looks exactly the same), but it will not start, and I'm hoping someone will be able to help.

I tested the spark plug in a weed whacker and it sparks like crazy. I also unhooked the killswitch wires and tried to make it spark, without any luck.

So it must be a bad coil. I go get a new coil. Still nothing. So now I figure the wiring must be hooked up wrong. The ground from the killswitch was originally jammed between the pullstart cover and the metal shell which makes up its other half, which seemed ok, but maybe it's a bad spot for it.

Image shows how I have it wired at the moment (without the pullstart aparatus). Is this correct? The two wires on the left go to the killswitch, and the black one on the right is plugged into the side of the coil.

This is so frustrating...

not sure about that being the right or wrong way to wire it but:

make sure that you gapped the coil and the flywheel correctly
also try checking the fuel lines
and the jet on the carb for dirt or anything that would clog it

try getting a new cap for the spark plug... take the one you have now off and hold the wire in one hand and try to start it... if you get a jolt then thats your problem... I had that problem, that the cap wasn't hooked in the wire right. those ones don't screw on theres just a a coil with the 2 ends push in the side of the wire

As far as I know the coil is positioned close enough to the wheel, since the magnets pull on the coil armature, but they do not touch.

Fuel is pumping all the way through and out the overflow tube, but there's no spark for ignition.

I just yanked the cap off the coil, and see that the end is just a small loop of wire that has been pierced through the coil's insulated wire. The loop doesn't fit at all tight to the top of the spark plug so it may not have been touching when hooked up (and it's dirty with some white oxidized crap or something).

I brushed off a bit of the white stuff, tried shocking myself with everything wired as in the photo. And then again with everything unplugged except the coil, and the spark plug contact in my hand, but no shock happened.

I don't think there's anything else to be checked, and since the guy I got the present coil from says he tested it, I don't know what could be set up wrong other than the wiring. But there's only like 2 wires.... I think I've got it right.

End of the line?

edit:
Does anyone here have a similar bike where there's only wires to and from the killswitch, and wires to and from the spark plug?

I tested the killswitch with a lightbulb and battery and it appears to work as it should, so that's not it...
I think I've got a pretty good understanding of how this all should work after reading everything I could possibly find online, and the wiring is not the problem. The coil is the problem. I am going to get yet another one. And then run this thing over with my car.

I was able to check out another bike (same model), and everything is hooked up the way it should be. The problem is either the magnets on the flywheel or the coil.
I got my hands on a multimeter to get a little more insight into this.
