Hello all,
I just recently purchased an x1 and I'm glad to be here. I have a few questions I was hoping you could answer. I picked up this x1 today, It has jetmoto exhaust I heard its cheap, suppose to have stuff done to the engine, has a different carb that seems the part for the filter is bigger but is missing the filter. It is missing the front and bottom fairing and some bolts for the other fairings. I couldnt get the bike running so I drained the old gas and put new 32:1 mix now it will only start with starter fluid and it floods half the time. So I got it running and took it for a quick spin and on flat surface I think I got to about 35 mph. The speedo says 30 and I hit that and it was still pulling quite a bit and I'm 6'2 220 lbs without the front fairing. I was pretty surprised. It is also missing the choke, so could the whole problem with needing starting fluid be from no choke or air filter? It also has electric start that doesnt work, mayb from bad battery? I'll try to get some pcitures of it tomorrow. Thank you all.

I'm from northern VA. I'm not sure if i'll race or not. I wish they where street legal. If I do race it wont be for awhile because lack of money.
