Default So I'm new.

I have a pocketbike that I bought and the thing quit working. It blew a fuse and I couldn't find the fuse anywhere so I just bypassed the fuse.. nothing happened. It still didn't work. The bike came with all the electronics. It is a 49cc engine and it has electric start, turn signals, brake lights, headlights, EVERYTHING. including a switch.. my problem is that I couldn't get a damn thing to work so I took every single wire off of it and what I'm left with is a couple wires coming out of the coil...I think this is the interrupter or the "kill Switch" wires, but they have a connector on the end and I REALLY don't wanna cut them off of the connector withough first knowing that I am correct and that I can just wire in a normal 12v switch and have everything running ok. So... is that all I need to do?

Baraka Sourcing Solutions - Product Details

That is a link to the pocketbike I have. I know it's late and most people aren't online now, but I'm leaving town here in a couple days and I would reeally appreciate it if anyone that knows could give me some feedback.

Haha. I can post pics of the state it is in right now. lol I took EVERYTHING off of the bike in order to start from scratch. I cleaned the carb. I am definitely mixing my gas/oil correctly, and I cleaned and gapped the plug already. The plug gets spark when I pull on the pull starter, but I think that the two cables coming off of the coil (what I assume is the interrupter or kill switch) are the culprit because they went to the key system. I'm wondering if these wires just need to be connected to a 12 volt switch for the thing to work, or if one of them needs an actual 12 volt source from the battery in order to send a signal that it is ok for the bike to keep running. If this is true, then wouldn't the engine running be enough to supply the 12v source? The engine is fine, I know that. I am just trying to figure out all these little electrical bugs. So, in an effort to figure them out, I removed EVERY wire. minus the one wire coming off of the magneto because I don't think it affects anything. I'll post pics of the wires coming off of the coil.

oh okay lol well it could be also that ur piston rings are bad.. that happens a lot with these bikes, if u can, i would take apart the head and check to make sure the piston it good and the rings.. you carb might be bad too, ( its stock right?) cuz these carbs are not good so they need to be replaced..

well I've checked the rings, compression, almost everything on the engine. I checked the carb, and re-built it. I dunno. Might just try to go ahead and buy a new control module and see how it goes from there. (Of course, after I try the simple fix of jsut a switch)
