does the tire spin on stand ? if so , your clutch springs sound to be broken or none exsistant. open the clutch side and see how it looks!

ok , well here what is happening , from what i gather , you bike runs on the same centrifical clutch as a snow mobile , there are three pads that are held in place by springs , that when spun very quickly the pads begin to open and grab on to the clutch bell , in turn , spinning the pinion , then to the chain , which finishes at the rear wheel .
I believe that one of the springs , that holds the pads , has broken off , or is defective . so when you start the bike on the stand , it has no load on it , allowing the wheel to spin freely , hence no stalling , but as you put weight on it , it stops the wheel from spinning as well as the engine from being able to turn over .

pull off clutch housing and bell ( 1 piece ) and take a look , it will be aparent !

And yes , this is typical of a china rep minimoto or pocketbike!
Make sure everything is tight and use locktite ! It is not the sellers fault , but they should back up what they sell

you will need new springs for it , nothing to tighten . for you it maybe best to ask for a whole new clutch . springs are hell to put on .
