Mini Moto Pull start stuck or locked or jammed?? - PocketBikeForum.com

Hey,
i have this mini moto

and we was trying to start it and while pulling the pull start it seemed to get stuck into a position about half way pulled, we were able to pull it further out but it wouldnt wind back in. Any one have any ideas as to what it could be and what we should do.

losen the bolts on starter and check it out

well.. its wierd..
we started to loosen the bolts holding on the pull start and after wiggleing it around a little bit the pull cord just shot back in...
this seems to happen every now and again but just doing the above fixes it..
now were just going to replace the pull start with a metal one because be have now cracked the casing in several places and it kinda damaged and it just clicks and makes alot of cracking noise when you try and pull it..

I now need help with the chain... could you check out
