Default Oily Situation

Just wondering what type of oil is everyone using? What brand? What's the best one out there? Right now I am using synthetic oil and it seems fine but still a little messy. So what's good out there?

If I get off my butt and write the article on oil then you'll know what's good .

Seriously though, it honestly doesn't matter what oil you run in a bike. However there can be differences between synthetic and organic oils.

I have searched, I have emailed and still no one has produced any real tests between synthetic and organic oils. I've gotten replies from product engineers but I'll leave that info in the article.

I read somewhere but i can't remember the site. They were sayign that Synthetic oil is not good at all when breaking in an engine. They were saying that regular 2 cycle oil is alot better and keeping the rings from sticking. Not sure if its true or not. SO anyone have any say on that one?

FACT or FICTION?

i can see that because reg castor oil will impregnate the metal better, not as slippery

Now you tell me.. LOL
On my bike manual was recommending synthetic oil. Oh well too late now cuz my bike has been broken in. I am happy the way it drives now and I just have to put more stuff to it. LOL
