| Hi I'm new here Be nice to me | Hi Just received my new 49cc pocekt atv. Ran it down the street and all was perfect. Once i turned it off, i noticed gas leaking from underneath the carb. There is a small hose where it was coming from, i suppose its some type of run-off hose. When i started it again the gas stopped leaking. Now, it will not start at all. I get a spark, seems like maybe a vacum? Any help is appreciated. Thanks |

| Pocketbike Dealer | Sounds like the carb to me , try taking it off , and giving a good cleaning , are you from Winnipeg ! What is happening is your float , needle , or the black slider in the carb is full of dirt or sand , which is holding on of the above open allowing gas to fly or rush by ! personally i feel it is the jet that has some dirt or sand in it if it won't start , but cleaning it all the first time will actually save you time , rather than just cleaning the part of the carb .And if there is gas it also tells me there is something messing with the float in the carb . I know in tutorials , someone had done a " how to clean your carb " , just be carefull when using commerical carb cleaners to do it , sometimes a little strong on the rubber parts , and heard they sometimes eat at the plastics and rubber seals ! good luck , got a picture of it !
