Default the P.O.

i as riding my bike down the street today for about 5 minutes... i let my friend ride around he loved it. Apperently a police officer lives at the end of the street, and he took the squad car home for lunch. as a coincidence, my next door neighbour saw them and pulled over by them with his van. I was in my driveway simply tunning th bikes idle screw when they turned the sirens on, getting out of the car and approaching me.
" did you know its illegal to ride these on the street?"
" I do now. I'm in my driveway though..."
" we've had some complaints about the noise."
" Who complained? its 1:30pm ? was it my next door neighbour?"
" we cant give u that information.", and added (since hes my end of street neighbour) "I saw u riding that thing aroun at 9:30 last night, you know theres noise restrictions at night time and i saw you."
I'M SO full of rage at theis point i say
" Wow, Well, I was at home at 9pm last night inside without the bike, and I was riding in my friends BMW an hour before that on the highway, I wasnt Riding it out that late, I'm completely aware of the restrictions."

Lets face it folks :as men we know that all female cops have too much testosterone, and this guys partner was onr of them, and she went nuts.
" Pull start that thing one more time and we'll write u a ticket" she said.

i collected myself and replied
" I'm sorry, Im in my driveway, and im sorry my neighbour complained as he was leaving anyway..."
THE END

goes to show you theres f***ing asshole cops all over the place
wheres a good place to ride, not race, just play around locally? in the st james area?

Default neighbours

I'd also like to add, not only my next door neighbour, but the cop at the end of the street have pre teenage boys. Ive been friends with these kids since they were young. im 21, a local role model on the street, I've always been nice to them and it feels like a crime that theyre turning the tabls on me like this.

" Woah, Dad, Can i have one?" is what they say. I am now penalized for it. I just dont get it. I'm confrontin my next door neighbour about this. Theres a problem that needs fixin

It's simply illegal to ride them on the street. We discourage street riding as it brings heat on all the other riders in the city who own/ride them legally.

Yes there are noise restrictions but noise restrictions have specific times unless you are over a specific decibel level which they can only find out with a decibel meter, listening alone is not enough.

As for riding, we do have plain riding on Sundays. We don't just race all day.

most locial noise by-laws are for after 10 pm and the bike or motorized vechical can not be over 94 decibels as this is harmful to your ears. note it is only after 10pm dose the noise rating come in to effect.
