Default Need bodywork - also "seat saver"?

After a couple of tough race weekends the tank cover/seat unit on my aircooled bike is trashed - the tail is cracked on both sides by the seat.

So I'm looking for a replacement tank cover/seat, red if possible, but other colours considered.

Also, I've heard of a "seat saver" that bolts onto the rear "subframe" and supports the tail unit from beneath. Does someone local make these? Sounds like a great idea for preventing stress cracking of the seat unit.

Thanks,

d.

Kris (pb x-treme) can make the tail saver for you.

What kind of bike do you have? I'd need to know so I could tell you who might have a seat fairing for you.

Heh... good question. It's a full-fairing a/c bike with a very angular modern-looking fairing and kicked-up seat. I think that the fairing is what's called "Tai Chi" style. However I reckon the more rounded type body would fit also.

All i have access to is lucky7 fairings. Perhaps vern/gil have ones for your bike.

L7 fairings could probably be made to fit your bike, but it would cost more for the mods.

All I need is the tank/seat unit. I think I could make that fit myself.

Yep - that's it. My frame looks different, but that's the bodywork.
