| Pocketbike Dealer | well its in , Have had NO time to do s*** ! Went in without a hook ! She sure looks purdy! now the polini 8.5 is out till next year . Going to go through it make sure all seals , bearings and gaskets are still up to par . As well change the ring and clean her up for next years stock 40 class ! Now she is set -up for indoor ! Got to run her still , and properly jet it as well ......... thought she was not going to line up , and will have to find some spacers for the top motor mount before i can say it is said and done . Should be a fast bike ! cannot wait ! Using that and the elite 11 indoors boys !

| Pocketbike Dealer | Tested the new motor out last weekend . Needs jetting . will hopefully be able to head out this weekend to give it one more go. Tried a 104 , have to try a 106 i think . it was cold out that day . Forgot journal , do not know temps/ humidity levels and feel it would be still alittle lean for indoors . i was told ( at a 300 ft elevation ) that a 107 was originally used . but being at about 700 ish , i decided that i would try starting at the 104 jet . The polini with 18 mm carb was using a 102 already so thinking i was smart , i should have started with the 107 that was originally in the bike and worked down . Otherwise , INSAINE! the hp rating i was told was 14.5 - 15 . But different power than the 50 cc 15 hp i have already . Power was right there , likei was instantly on the pipe ! where the 50 seems to have it a little bit after . Do not get me wrong , the 50 is probably the faster ( top end ) than the 40 , but on a short track this thing will pull me threw the turns quick , and i mean real quick . Special treatment - These next couple weeks i am priming both the bikes up for the first ride out at speedworld for our practice day . The 50 is going strictly for fun , no racing with it there . Besides needs rear swing arm repair . Also going to be trying out the Vee Rubber Rain tires on the 40 cc . Supposed to be good on that type of surface . I may test out the 21 mm carb on 50 as well , once dome and chrome ring is installed as well .

| The atomiser depends on what type of carb you have. My Elite runs a 4 stroke atomiser, which is the easiest to tune, while my Polini runs a 2 stroke atomiser. The 2T setup was pretty difficult to dial in, but once you figure it out, you will get more power out of it. You can't switch between the types of atomisers, but at least we have a good place to start since I have 2 19mm carbs that are properly set up. The 21 will run a very similar setup to the 19mm, the only place that it is hard to tune is the idle circuit, since at idle there is so little flow throught that huge venturi. What I need to know is what needle/atomiser/idle jet are in it now. Those are they 3 key parts. I have switched between a 30 and 40 slide, and I didn't notice any difference. I also have a few extra PHBG tuning parts that we can try. It just won't run right with the wrong parts. I found that the process was similar to dialing in a cag carb when i got the Polini. It was tuned for Ontario, but for Winnipeg I had to raise the needle one notch and adjust the fuel screw. Your stock setup should be something like AN262 atomiser/W9 needle and a 45 idle if you have the 4t setup. |

| Pocketbike Dealer | Well a major rad leak and mount bracket broken at TNT , during that slippery spell. Replacing with 50 radiator and fixing the other. Otherwise the open 40 motor runs great , alittle lean( which will fix ) but other than that all good ! I have some good competition indoors this year . Jerry and his Grc and WRS . Kristain on his Polini's , Huck on his Zpf, Jared on his DM, Shawn on his Blata which always is competiton. Hope to see , pb exretme , FORD , wpg racer , friggin bike , and all you others come out and support the sport ! Great time boys . Anyhow , i was trying to get at , the fact that i am going to have to giv'er ! to win !
