We were just looking into making pegs and meat hooks out of (sekrut) plastic. Guaranteed never to hook if you hit cement with them and safe for indoor riding.

what about making the pegs hinged so they move up when you corner hard

The point of the (sekrut) plastic pegs is so they slide if they hit, that way your feet don't move and you are kept safe.

yeah the hook pegs are great..indoor track best would be to make them out of delrin..or nylon....
easy to find the material for it..
