well i was going to gimli to deliver some equipment today and i thought hmmm, maybe i should check out the track we had last year. so i did and it was s***. so i happened to see barry there as steve has went back to the usa. i asked him if i could go check out the kart track and he said go for it.
was i ever suprised to see how the ridges were flattened out and how much smoother it was. i told him how thw amra is hosting events across canada and could possibly get 1 happening in manitoba. he was floored and said to do what it takes. well with the alberta guys comin out i thuoght maybe we should test the track.
so i approached him with this and he said we could have the track for a weekend and camp and test the track and give them feedback as to what it is like and offer any ideas.this would cost a rider about 30 bucks each as we will have to get insurance , but not race insurance. this would not be an event. this would be a way to see if we can utilize this motor sports track.
i will be linking barry to this forum so he can see how seriuos we are. maybe for the guys who did alberta could comment here and let him know what an expierence it was and how we like to offer the same here.
so lets here it guys, when .......was thinking maybe the 29 of july,....who....talk to the guys you ride with and send me a pm.
