so heres a question... what is going on with the social i havent heard nothin about it

I have to wait until tomorrow to get a copy of the contract to find out about head counts and stuff.

At this time the social is tentatively planned for Sept 30. I'll be posting more info this week.

dont commit yet on a date if posible admin. i might have some guys in alberta with me at certain times. i really want to be there. thanks

I'm not comitting to anything yet, I wouldn't do that until I got an OK from a few people.

Spoke to the people at the hall, Sept 30 is still available.

As for head count, they do not have one. However if we have under 150 people using the room they reserve the right to allow the general public in without paying for a ticket (so they can recoup bar sales). So while we wouldn't make ticket sales on those people, we could still get them for silent auction tickets.

All in all this doesn't sound too bad to me. It's probably the best deal we could get for almost no money.

Costs
$200 damage deposit
We pay for food (if any) - they charge $2.25 per person, I can get for $1.40 per person
$110 for a DJ if we want one from them
They supply staff (bartenders/bouncers) and they do cleanup. We have to remove any decorations if we use any however.
Capacity = 250 people
No hall charge (rental = free)

So there ya have it. Any other questions I probably know the answer to already. Now I just need a confirmation of the date and we can get tickets and secure the date.

With Vern going off for work it's been delayed until he has confirmation of what's going on. I was hoping to talk to him last sunday but he wasn't there.

We'll work it out this sunday.
