Ok well , thought you might all want to hear bout' what is going on in the way of a track in Manitoba ! Also , by letting you in on what I am doing along with Huck , Pb extreme,and Admin , I am hoping to get some good ideas through your posts.

Well , these are the people i have sent e-mails to in regards to a track ..
- a grant organization
- Gimli Motorsport park
- Amra
- Insurance

And plan on getting a hold of .......
-Asphalt prices
-CMA

Any one with some input ?

i was at the lake last weekend when i we visited with some people and a couple were there and thier kids race at gimli. the first words out of thier mouths were .........we need a new track and a closer track, gimli is too far.........

the general consensus is the same about the location along with other items we discussed like no power and camping sucks without showers , so they rent hotel rooms and it cost much more to go racing.this is the feedback i received.they also showed a huge intrest in sharing a track or new track with us.

ya I know how that feels, Gimli is pretty far. it took me about 2 hours to drive there. the camping thing would be alright if I could but with work I don't know if I could camp out there. That one day in gimli costed me alot of money for only 4 hours of riding

Ok well another point i for got to make ........
This would be probably once a month , unless and event was taking place , and would be for the weekend ...... just like last weekend !
I realize it is a bit further away than some would want , but also know that there would be some humming and hawwing over the price to go out there every weekend . So thats why we will still do the lots everyweekend ,except for the weekend out in gimli ! Due to the insurance and track fees !
Another invlolves the repaving of the track for race purposes ! ( for got to mention ) .

Ok well , I know of some die hards that love the idea , it is convicing of the lot riders to come out .........

I MAY have another location for us. I'm waiting for the phone call back and then I'd need to go see it. I'll keep everyone updated.

Spoke to the people there, the head guy is away on holidays and will call me when he's back. He just left so we may have to wait two weeks to hear from him.
