| the legal age for a motorcycle license is 16, you need to go through a 8 or 21 hour course then 9 months of your begginers stage. then you go for a road test then you are allowed to drive at night and have a passenger, only 3 more months for me even tho i hadnt gone for a ride in like 2 or 3 months wonder why.

| Administrator Friends call me God ;) | I remember the good old days when all you needed to do was go in, do the written test and you could ride a bike. If I remember you had to come back within 6 months to take the driving test. As for insurance, it's not cheap. Much more expensive than insuring an average car. |

| Do some checking before you buy. You can only register those in some states in the US. The rules in Canada are a bit different, but post up what you find out. I want to throw a headlight and some signal lights on a pit bike and ride it on the street. |

| my friends dad has actually turned his 150 into a street bike, but you need to have the following: headlights and blinkers (flashers) brake lights: mirrors, street slicks, spedometer, key ignition (secondary start). and thats all i can remember him telling me.

| Administrator Friends call me God ;) | Read the info here for more details on importing bikes http://www.pocketbikeforum.com/artic...-part-2-a.html One way you could try and get away from issues at the border, is to simply import the bike as a RUM and once it's here add the things that are required and go apply for a VIN and state that it is a custom built machine made by yourself. That may work, but there's never any guarantees. |
