Default Exciting News!

I am very proud to announce the new pocket bike club in Calgary. It will be known as the AMRA Minimoto Lites!

I have been working for a little over a year to start an association or club which will focus strictly on parking lot events and to gain acknowledgment for the sport we have all come to love so much; well my hard work has paid off with the unbelievable support of the AMRA it is coming together. We now have insurance to cover these events, a list of supporting pocket bike dealers, corporations and many others. We are currently sourcing out an area for this to take place and have a few very promising connections which should have us a facility in no time.

Updates will be posted on GrinnandBarrett.ca as well as the AMRA.ca!

Keep the parking lots alive! It’s were it all begins!

Thanks,

Brendon Schmidt

MAN good work Buddy , cannot wait to see it !
personally like the idea .
This will allow jr. riders to develope there skills in order to race, oreven to be introdued into the sport. Most of the parking lots used are in high traffic areas , and allow those that do not know the sport exsists to see it first hand.
Being one that organizes here in winnipeg, we found with out the parking lot rides, the sport comes to a hault.
I have also noticed new ones to the sport are very intimitated by those with more skill and discourage them from joining in the fun. Brendan , of grinn and barrett and i have discussed this cenario several times, and have come up with that same idea.
We also noticed without this, anyone that may purchase one of these fun bikes will take them and ride them on the STREETS. Causing them to get hurt or killed . They also ride the streets without the proper safety equipment( helmets , and pads) The law has now been usig this against us and alot of talk about banning these machines has now been heard.
This is a wonderful idea ....... And anyone whom has asked this is not aware of the underground riding that has become a big popularity across canada .
With the parking lot rides as well a variety of track layouts maybe done to accomidate those less experienced riders as well.

Just my thoughts.......

Thanks for those involved in making it happen for those in other cities
