Default Reviveing my electric X9 - need all the help i can get

ok here what i did so far

YouTube - X9 Electric pocket bike ... project

YouTube - X9 Electric pocket bike , update 1

what i want in my bike is as much distance as i can get,
so i'm gona use 3x 12v 20ah batteries and a 1000watt motor to pull me
my question is if i get this controller: TNC Scooters (Scooter Sales and Service) it says the max curent is 40 amps but my total curent is gona be 60amps, will that fry the controller or the motor? or does it mean that it only lets 40 amp pass through and it and it dosent matter how many is coming in.

Default

the Unite 1000watt motor is rated at 35amps. that controller should work perfect
TNC Scooters (Scooter Sales and Service)
use this one, I have this one my self....

look at the TSP100
I dont recomend used parts (TNCscooters sells pulled parts) I have had problems with 3 controllers from that company and every time they would send out a replacement controller it would be even worse....You can buy your parts from any place but I stronly recomend parts that come in a factory sealed box, the last motor I got the data sticker was partially removed, like to say they sole me a 750w motor and popped a 1000w sticker on...it was a thought that crossed my mind that pissed me off a tad....

Buy NEW, you support the Economy better that way, and you get what you really paid for that way...

look at the TSP100, if it fries it will have a heavy warranty and customer support that helps.
