Angry Leaking gas out of Carb

Ok so i just fixed my pocket bike and had it running several times but then there was a tube conected to the carb and its leaking gas it leaked more then half my tank in 1 day it's relly pissing me off and i would like some help also i just got it fixed so it's being kinda weird i had to spray starter fluid into the spot where the spark plug goes also just to let you know

your float was stuck open with gas rushing in and thats where it came out. Quick fix is you just pick up the bike a couple inches and drop it do that a few times. I would recomend you clean your carb

Thanks man yeah another one of my freinds was talking to me about the float and he didint relly explain it very well to me because he was busy. so just drop it a few times? how hight should i drop it from? oh yeah and can you recomend a good way for a 14 year old to clean out a carb without ruining his bike?


hmmmm i just did your easy fix and it seems to be leaking a lot now. Is that normal?

i think its the big part at the lowest part of the carb. the carb is in 2 pieces. the main piece where everything in and the float cover under the main part. am i correct?

Oh geeze ok so i got the carb off and everything but the screws that are connected to the float bowl are old coroded and a bit striped i havent touched them any ideas? (the bike is from hawaii so its rusted)

i think i fixed the float bowl it was sticking before right? i hit it with the handle of a screw driver a couple times and now when i shake it it makes a noise like somehhtings moveing

thats the float rattling,but you need to take the bowl off and get carb cleaner and spray everything out good becareful and not tear your bowl gasket when you take it apart and not to loose the metal bar that holds the in valve spring well it doesn`t look like a spring its shaped like a wish bone
