Hi guys as you all know i did manage to get my C1 fixed, mechanic said it was a clutch problem so i had it replaced. Now the problem is when i put it on a stand I throttle and throttle but seems like rear wheel doesnt spin still, but when i FULLY engage on the throttle then rear wheel starts to spin, it seems like the acceleration is really slow =S When i sat on it trying to see if it would move, again, I fully Engaged on the Throttle but it seems i am just making my ears hurt from the sound and bike still not moving =/ Then after i let go of the throttle after 3 seconds the engine shuts off. Sometimes when the engine is on and i press on the kill switch the engine is still on, and it turns off after i stop throttling.

yep, bike starts out fine, its just the throttling problem and the engine shut off. I heard it has something to do with the idle =S

whats the magneto? oh yeah i just heard from another forum some guy told me that it is normal for a water cooled pocket bike to have a late acceleration, he said you really have to throttle it until rear starts to spin, so it is normal rite? if it is normal then i guess all i need help on now is the Engine shut off problem.

| Pocketbike Freak | well does it take off when you ride it.. if it does not than the clutch is too tight .. you need to back out the adjustment screws a bit to get the clutch to engage a bit sooner.. so what happens is as the bike revs there is springs in the clutch that hold it from engageing the drum..ie making the wheels turns.. the bikes revs up higher making move power before the wheels start to turn.. if it is set to low the wheels turn too soon and the bike bogs and has slow acceleration.. if it is set to late it burns up the clutch and revs to high and is hard on the drive trains.. but having it set right means good acceleration and longer lasting parts.. look for a guide to help you set it.. this i a must know if you are going to be riding a water cooled bike!! p |

sweet, ok, yeah but i dont really know how to take the parts apart, so i usally bring it over to a mechanic, but when i brought it there they replaced my clutch and the rear spins but when im on it, it just stays there. Also there is a Power Off problem, as soon as i stop reving the whole engine shuts off.
