Hey Guys

im very new to this whole pocket bike stuff
my whole thing started one day when my little brother bought the electric one from Razor and i was like cool cool

I WANT ONE
hahahahah

so i did some searching and Found Used one
the person i bought it from claims its a X8 but i dont really know he told me he bought it for 600 and rode it once and was asking 200
so i bought it :)

i love it
i have had it for about 4 days now and i have
Cleaned the Spark plug in gas
Sprayed Carb cleanner every where
Cleaned the cheap sponge called an airfilter
and thats about it

only runs with choke on
only goes about 20mph
its got a giant 49CC sticker on
i want it to accelerate faster
i want it to go at least 45-50mph

i am VERY manically challenged lol
i dont want to spend more than $100-200 on upgrades

i am very new to the sport and im not looking to be race crazy or anything just for fun

all and any help would be very appreciated

Thanks
Avi

the motor looks like the one on my zooma scooter but its a 33cc,does your carb have a primer bulb underneath? 2 screws?1 for idle, one for air/fuel mixture?can you take a pic of those and the motor?

It's a 49cc motor, they are generally known to be scooter motos are have very little power. 20mph is about right for a cateyes bike.

you want it faster put it in your trunk and go 60 down the highway, lol j/k put it up on a stand or stool and adjust the bottom screw with the bike held WOT(wide open throttle)and it must be running, it will take you using both hands. when you turn it to the right and at the highest rev point turn it back to the left a quarter turn.thats how you adj the air/fuel mixture. it might be out of wack right now.as for mods, find a scooter seller on google they make hi-po parts for them 49cc motors.but I have never had a catseye bike, always was told by other members they would slap me if i got one,lol
