Default Help

My son just got a pocket bike today. It runs and seems to have really good compresion. Problem is that it does not seem to have any power to go fast enough to actually ride. I thought it must've been the clutch, but then I could not find where the clutch would be. I pulled off the cover where the main drive sproket is and there was no clutch to be found. What should I do?? I'm kinda at a loss at this point.
Also, I have no idea what brand/year/ or any info on the bike. I do know it is a 49cc... and "Ninja" is what it says on the side.
Anyone got any tips on what to look into next??? I appreciate any sort of help I can get.

Okay... after doing a little more digging I figured out that he has a 49cc Cateye pocket bike. I also think that I might have figure out where the clutch plate is... I've dug a little deeper and discovered that it is likely behind the gear assembly. Looks like I will have to get most of the motor loose before I can get to it... so that is going to have to be a project for tomorrow.
Let me know if I am on the right track. Thanks

Wow... go figure. I got into it today, got the clutch out... went to the local small engine dealer... got a clutch... installed it and got the bike back together and fortunately it now works.
Now for the new issue. The bike runs pretty good, but it seems like it's bogging down some and will not idle for a length of time without quiting. I would guess it might be something to do with the carb, but now I'm a little out of my field of knowledge. Anyone got some idea's or tips from here??
