| you can lighten the flywheel by removing 2 fins leaving 1 removing 2 leaving 1 all the way around, and it will equal out, you can just get a pair of plyers and just snap them off, after that grab a file and file them down flush! it is a great mod.

| Install an NGK B7HS or BR7HS spark plug. The plug has a longer reach than the stocker, so it will bump up the compression ratio. You will se a gain in low end, and a 500 to 600 rpm increase in top end. Usually the piston-to-head clearance is way off on these engines. Search the interent for how to measure the "squish". If you are comfortable with that, then you can pull the base gasket out and use a fuel-proof sealant instead. Getting the squish as close as possible to .5mm will make a significant gain. |
