Default mt-a2 good?

So I bought a new pocketbike off of ebay... for $160 shipped and it had a look alike l7 for the picture so i said what the hey what can be worse so when i got it i opened it up and to my surprise it was a mt-a2. So I did a little research and i found out its made by cagllari its just the mt-a1 with a full fairing so i said hey i guess i got a pretty good deal because i know you can upgrade alot of cags. So my question is. Is it any good or not in my eyes its pretty good its a pretty good speed for a new bike that isnt broken in. But i wanna know is it good for a beginner racer. I made the mistake of buying a zeimini and trying to race it thinking they all go the same speed until i did reseach. So guys is it decent?

yes they are !

and you were right to begin with ..... they are all the same !
Some maybe a slight different , but unless your getting a L7 , your getting basically the same bike .
HOWEVER, some have different stuff on them , frame maybe a slight bit different , or the chain and sprocket and pinion may be huge , or , you may have those ones that have 2 different pinions ( stupid ) . HERE IS A TIP , STAY AWAY FROM GIOVANNI ,and ZEIMINI
Some may say there faster than others , but like you do find out why . Usually has to do with a big bore kit , or different gearing .

i will say the bike with 25H chain and gearing to match is the one to look for , the frame you want has no bar behind the rear tire , in front of the air box ( that bar makes it impossible to go to a bigger carb or 4 peddle reed cages , or even a ada , or k+n air filter . ) As for the head or cylinder ( big bore ) well it is virtually impossible to explain what to look for, to tell you exactly what size head you actually have on .

From there , wanna make it faster , check the squish , all china bikes come with a incorrect squish , ( the space between the head and the top of the piston when engine is a tdc ) , set it to .5 mm , then your rocking !
from there , hit up some reeds , a good air cleaner ( K+N ) and if you want try a rocket key or timing advance key .

Again , go over the entire bike , make sure everything is tight .
And if your racing , really play with your gearing , it will make all the difference in the world , from big to small track . good luck !

NEXT!!!!!..................

sleeves always has good ideas, you go with those mods, and you will have a quick bike! another good thing to look at is clutch, i found with my cag, the hp springs (stiffer than stock) were better than any other clutch, or adjustable clutch.
