Default Petcock Mod # 2

Petcock Mod (requires an inline fuel shutoff valve)

1. Disassemble petcock
2. Fill in central hole of petcock body with J-B Weld, allow to dry 24 hours
3. Drill straight down through petcock barb, north to south
4. Make small cover plate from metal, install over J-B Weld using screws and epoxy to seal.
5. Install modded petcock back on carburetor with inline fuel shutoff

Petcock Mod # 2 (does not require an inline shutoff valve)

1. Disassemble petcock
2. Using dremel bit, deepen C-channel in white knob. (Not widen, petcock will leak.)
3. using 1/8" drill bit, very slowly and carefully enlarge all holes in petcock. You are NOT drilling through anything, just enlerging holes that are already there.
4. Clean with compressed air and reassemble petcock.

*** Note: I've done the second one on both my bikes with high success. ***
