what you should try is to take apart your old carbourator and clean it then try that it could just be a pice of dirt in the jet or something just take er' apart and clean it. wha kinda bike did you buy like a cag c1?

unfortunatly no, i bought one of those mini 50's the trail bike.... im not liken it as much as my old one(which got stolen). the bike is fast and everything but its one problem after another after another.....when is it going to stop. i would clean my carb but i don't know how anything could clog it because it was brand new bet if all else fails then i will try it.

It's quite possible there is an air leak which could be causing a lack of vacuum. Did you replace the gasket when you changed the carb?

Gaskets make sure that there are no air getting into the engine !
Ride hard and then while still coasting turn off engine then check spark plug make sure that the engine ain't running to lean , that might be able to tell you if there is a leak after the carb !

other than that is the thing jetted the way the other was or not !

maybe check your needle setting in the carb as well , i know it may be new !Start rich and go leaner as needed ! checking plug on the way !

how are your reeds sitting , are they closing completely or is there air fluttering by ? here are so good head starts , try them !
