Well Kris and I thought long and hard about this (around 2 minutes or so) and we came up with a good one!

Maybe if there were some drinks involved it could have been better, maybe next time.

On with the contest!

This months contest is a bit different. We're not looking for nice and pretty, in fact we want your crap!

Post a picture or pictures of your beat up bike! We want bikes that look like they've been to hell and back! The worst looking bike at the end of the month will win a free paint job! The paint job is limited to a single base color and clearcoat. You can upgrade this paint job at your own cost however. Those costs will be worked out between the winner and the painter.

Intentionally damaged bikes are not elibible for this contest, and yes, a good painter can tell. If the fairings need repair there may be an additional cost. Yes your broken fairings can be fixed and look better than new, but it's not exactly cheap to fix them properly.

To qualify for an entry into the contest you MUST do the following
1) Post your bike on pocketbikepics.com
2) Reply to this thread with the image in your post

By submitting your entry you accept the terms of this contest.
No substitutions will be given unless written consent is given beforehand.
Submissions must be in by Feb 28 2006 at 11:59:59 PM CST.
Winners will be announced before the 5th of the following month.
Admin and moderators of the forum are allowed to participate, but are not able to win prizes.
Winner will be chosen by Admin and moderators by random pick.
Not responsible for typographical errors or omissions.
Open to anyone over the age of 12.
Not valid where prohibited by law.
Installation and hardware are not included.
Winner is responsible for the shipping costs of the fairings to the painter.
Paint job is limited to a single base color and clear coat.
If winner wants to upgrade the paint they may do so at their own cost, those costs will be worked out with the painter.
Value of the prize is $100CAD, is non negotiable and has no cash value.
Minimal repairs are included with this package. Winner will be notified of costs before painting will occur.

I'll answer a few questions here.

Yes shawn's bike is bad, but we're not going ot judge on the worst. We're just looking for bad ones and will randomly pick one. Don't feel that you've lost yet because anyone with a whack bike can win.

If you win does it have to be the fairings that won get painted? I honestly hadn't thought of that. I would say no. As long as you win, it could be any pocketbike fairing set that could get painted that is in comparable shape or better than the winning fairings.
